One publisher, three kinds of buyer: schools, bookshops and students.
A school orders whole class sets for the year. A shop restocks its shelves. A student or parent buys a few books at a time.
The app had to serve all three from one catalogue, so the first choice anyone makes is which of the three they are.
Designed in motion, and tested as a clickable prototype.
A school does not shop book by book. It builds a list for the year.
Publishers call this an adoption: the set of titles a school commits to for a session.
We turned it into six short steps, with one decision in each.

- 01
Pick the levels
A school starts with its segments, from Early Years to A-Level.
- 02
Then the grades
Only the grades inside those levels are offered.
- 03
Then the subjects
English, mathematics, science and the rest, ticked in one list.
- 04
Choose the books
The catalogue is already narrowed to those choices.
- 05
Set the quantities
A number for each title.
- 06
Saved as an adoption
The list is kept, and the school can create another when it needs to.

Long screens, shown whole.

A page turns.
We proposed animating the publisher's mark for the splash screen, and made it. The mark is an open book, so one page lifts and settles.
One red, used for every main action.
From sign-up to receipt.
A daily word habit
Diction. A vocabulary app built around a daily goal and a streak worth keeping.
